Here is the outline of the space.
The front room is the older part of the house. It is approximately 15ft wide and 23 feet long. It is currently 6 ft 8 in high. The stairs from the kitchen come down into that part of the house, and end facing the front of the house. The utilities come into the house directly in front of the stairs. It also has the hot water heater, furnace, plumbing out to the holding tank for sewer. It has 3 small windows ( 2 need replacing ), and 2 large double hung windows that need to be replaced.
We would like to have a small bathroom, a storage area and an area for the utilities.
This is the room we want to have as a library. The door from the front part of the house opens into this room and so does the back door to the porch. It has 3 windows (the two by the fireplace need to be replaced). The fireplace works but some bricks need repointing. The room is approx 21.5 feet wide, 15 feet deep and 7.5 feet tall.
This is what we want to be my craft room. It is 12 feet wide and 15 feet deep. The door goes to the library. It has 2 windows, one will need to be replaced. It also has the sump pump for the drain. There is a lot currently stacked in the room so the pictures aren't great. If you look closely you can see a window going from this room into the front room.
This is the back porch. It is nice but needs to be fixed up. We are looking for it to be around the same size.
